Christ is my rock. I am still learning what it means to be a part of the Church even after almost four decades of attending churches of a few different denominations. I am still learning what it means to be a friend. But Christ is my Rock.
I value Christ not only as Savior but also as creator. As some one who leans toward the artistic yet enjoys the technical I appreciate both the logic and passion exhibited in the cosmos. I may struggle with coming into agreement with Him in all things as He is as offensive as alcohol in an open wound. However without cleaning a large wound infection could set in and we need Him to cleanse the greatest soul wound of all. Sin. Aveira. Hamartia. What ever language you use it is by nature incompleteness,guilt ,and missing the mark all at once. We can not clean this wound with the rags stained by our own spiritual blood. We need something pure to set us on the path of healing. That is the blood of Christ.
My goal with this site is to reflect the Light of Yeshua, Jesus, Messiah, Christ through musings on my three greatest loves: God, Art, and Tech. Granted I should say love thy neighbor as second but I for the sake of brevity role that into love of God. For you can’t love God and hate your brother and you can’t fully love your neighbor and hate God. After God and neighbor for me comes art or creativity and tech or logical problem solving through manipulation of the cosmos.
